Ingredients
- 3 c heavy cream
- 6 bay leaves
- 4 fresh thyme
- 4 garlic
- 1 t nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- 4 c cheddar
- unsalted butter
- 4 lbs potatoes
- 1 c grated parm cheese
Details
Preparation
Step 1
put first group of ingredients in sauce pan
butter the casserole pan
remove bay leaves
pour in bowl with potatoes
coat with parmigiano cheese
Spoon ream in bottom of casserole dish
put in potatoes
pour rest of cream over top
top with parmigiana and thyme
cover with alluminum foil and vent corner
cook 1 hour covered and 1/2 hour uncovered
