Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sifted confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2-1/4 cups Gold Medal Flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Measure flour by sifting.
Gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in nuts.
Chill.
Heat oven to 375.
Roll into 1” balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 min.
While still warm, roll in confectioners’ sugar.
Cool. Roll in sugar again.
