Mrs. Culver’s Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup marjarine
  • 3/4 cup Crisco
  • 2 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 4 cups flour, sifted
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ground ginger

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and molasses. Sift together dry ingredients and add to cream mixture. Shape into 1” balls then roll in granulated sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 12-15 minutes until golden.
