Salmon Loaf


The old salmon loaf I served for many years. Very good!

  • 1 16 oz. can salmon, drained and flaked
  • 2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 T. chopped onion
  • 1 T. butter, melted
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 beaten egg

Preparation time 5mins
Cooking time 40mins


Step 1

In a bowl cimbine salmon, crumbs, chopped onion, butter, and salt. Combine milk and egg; add to salmon mixture and mix thoroughly. Shape into a loaf on a greasted shallow baking pan or in loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Serve with veggie of your choice and horsey sauce-ketchup and Silver Springs real horseradish.
