Ingredients
- 6 medium red potatoes, quartered
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 10 cloves garlic, sliced
- 2 tbs fresh rosemary
- salt/pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 (3-4 pound) whole chicken
- Juice of one lemon

Preparation
Step 1
Place potatoes, 8 cloves of garlic, 2/3 of the onion, 1 tsp of rosemary, chicken and broth in a slow cooker; salt and pepper to taste. Place 1 clove of garlic and rest of onion in cavity of chicken. Place rest of garlic under the skin of the breast. Put chicken in pot. Slice 2 pieces of lemon and place under skin. Squeeze lemon over chicken. Put rest in cavity. Salt and pepper the chicken. Sprinkle remaining rosemary on top. Cook 7-8 hours. Cut up and serve with potatoes.
