Ingredients

  • CRUST:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • FILLING:
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 1/2 cup rhubarb
  • TOPPING:
  • 3 egg whites
  • 6 tbsp.
  • dash of cream of tartar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together ingredients for the crust with mixer. Put in a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Mix together filling in a saucepan. Cook until thick on low heat. Pour over crust.

Mix together the topping and place over the filling. Brown at 375.
