Pea Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork hocks
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 pkg (450g) yellow split peas
  • 3 leaks
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1 cup celery tops
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Simmer pork and water for 2 hours.

Remove meat and add peas, simmer for another 30 minutes.

Ad remaining ingredients and simmer another 30 minutes..
