Ingredients
- 2 lbs Italian sausage
- 3 whole plum tomatoes
- med onion chopped
- 2 to 3 celery chopped
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 cups shredded cabbage or 20 Brussels sprouts
- 3 potatoes cubed
- 3 carrots sliced
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 tbps cloves
- 3 tsp basil
- 2 tsp parsley
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 10 to 12 drops Worcestershire
- 2to4 cups chicken stock

Preparation
Step 1
Simmer sausage in a small amount of water until sausage shrinks about 1 hour. Remove from water and cut into 1 inch chunks. Return to pan with all other ingredients and simmer for 2 hours. Add uncooked specialty pasta 1/2 hour before serving(optional).
Serve with Parmesan cheese and crusty bread.
