Ingredients
- 1 TBL flour
- 1 fresh beef brisket (5 LBS)
- 2-4 tsp liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp celery seed
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 C chili sauce
- 1/4 C barbecue sauce
Preparation
Step 1
place flour in lg. oven roasting bag
shake to coat bag
rub brisket w/ liquid smoke, celery seed
& pepper
place in bag
place in roasting pan
combine chili sauce & barbecue sauce
pour over brisket
seal bag
w/ knife, cut 6 1/2" slits in top of
bag
bake @325 for 3 1/2-4 HR or until meat
is tender
let stand for 5 min
carefully remove brisket from bag
thinly slice meat across grain
