Ingredients
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup sweetened, flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
1) In a large bowl, mix together oats and coconut.
2) In a large pot, mix together butter, milk, sugar, cocoa and salt. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in vanilla.
3) Pour boiled mixture over oats and coconut. Stir together and remove tablespoon size portions. Drop onto wax paper and cool.
