Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 envelope yeast
- 1 T sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 cups flour
- 1 t salt
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 and grease cookie sheet.
Mix warm water, yeast and sugar in bowl and set aside. Beat egg in separate bowl and set aside. Add flour and salt to yeast mixture and stir together. With clean hands break off pieces of dough and shape into pretzels. The more you handle the dough the thicker the pretzel will be. Place on cookie sheet and brush with beaten egg. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
