Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg; unbeaten
- 3/4 teaspoon almond extract; can use lemon or rum
Preparation
Step 1
Sift together the flour and salt and set aside.
Cream the butter and gradually add the sugar, creaming well.
Blend in the egg and almond extract. Beat well.
Add the dry ingredients gradually and mix thoroughly.
Press through a cookie press onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in hot oven - 400°F 6 to 8 minutes.
