Ingredients

  • 4

    steaks ie. (ribeye, strip, sirloin)

  • 4-5

    medium russet potatoes, scrubbed clean baked and diced medium size

  • 4

    slices of bacon diced, 4 slices cooked and crumbled

  • 2

    tsp. finely chopped fresh garlic

  • 3-4

    qts. beef stock

  • 1

    c heavy cream

  • 2

    T finely chopped chives

  • 1

    c grated cheddar cheese

  • montreal steak seasoning

  • salt and pepper

  • Worcestershire sauce.

Directions

. coat potatoes with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper and bake in oven at 500 degrees. after cooling diced potatoes .season steak with salt and pepper sear in a hot cast iron grill type pan, re-seasons with Worcestershire and montreal steak seasoning and finish cooking in oven . saute bacon, onion and garlic add in stock, steak , potato and simmer for 15 minutes, next stir in cream taste and adjust seasoning . add in chives, cheese, and crumbled bacon
