Caramel Popcorn-Microwave

Ingredients

  • 16 Cups Popcorn in a large paper bag
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Stick butter/oleo
  • 1/4 Cup Corn Syrup
  • 1 tas Vanilla
  • 1/2 teas Baking Soda

Preparation

Step 1

Microwave brown sugar, butter and syrup on high 3 minutes, stir, microwave on high 2 minutes, stir.
stir in Vanilla and baking soda. Mix well. Pour over popcorn in bag. Mix as you stir. Close bag and shake well. Put bag into the microwave on high for 1 minute.
Shake and microwave for 30 seconds. Shake and microwave for 30 more seconds and shake well.
Spread and cool on a cookie sheet and store in a covered plastic container.
