Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1/2 C Butter melted
- 1/4 C Brown sugar packed
- 1 C Flour
- 1/2 C chopped walnuts
- Filling:
- 1 pckg frozen stawberries
- 2 egg whites
- 1 C sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 pt. whip cream whipped
Preparation
Step 1
Mix topping ingredients and put into oblong pan. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown. When brown press 1/2 of mixture down in bottom of cake pan leaving other half for top of desert.
Filling: place strawberries, egg whites, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla in a bowl. Beat for 20 min. Fold in whipped cream and pour into dish over crust. Top with crumbs. Refridgerate overnight.
