Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 egg, 3/4 C flour
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Melt shortening over low heat, stir in sugar. Cool. Add egg, flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Spread in greased 8" square pan and bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
