Ingredients

  • 3 Quarts Popped Popcorn (12 Cups)
  • 4 Cups Cheerios
  • 4 Cups Corn or Rice Chex
  • 2 Cups Salted Peanuts
  • 1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 16 Ounce Package Candy Pumpkins and/or Candy Corn

Preparation

Step 1

~In a large greased roasting pan combine popcorn, cereal, peanuts
~In a sauce pan combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter, bring to a rolling boil
~Boil for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, remove from heat
~Quickly stir in the vanilla and the baking soda until mixture is light and foamy
~Immediately pour over the popcorn mixture toss to coat
~Preheat oven to 250
~Bake, uncovered for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes
~When cooled stir in the candy pumpkins
~Keep in an Airtight container
