Ingredients

  • 4 (4 oz) filets of tilapia
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 TB olive oil
  • 2 TB melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

1. Rinse tilapia in cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides of filet with salt and pepper. Place flour in shallow dish; gently press each filet in flour to coat and shake off excess flour.
2. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 4 minutes per side. Brush melted butter onto tilapia in last minute.
