Cornmeal Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 1/2 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. cornmeal
  • 6 Tbs. butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. blackberries

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the dry ingredients. Warm milk. Put the cornmeal in a bowl, add milk, and stir. Cover and let stand 10 minutes.

Stir in the butter and the eggs. Add to flour mix and let stand 10 minutes.

Sprinkle with nuts and blackberries when on the griddle.
