Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 3/4 loaf french bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 qts half & half
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 oz raisons ( soak in hot water to soften)
  • 1/2 cup butter

Preparation

Step 1

Butter a large corning dish. Rip up the bread and place in dish.
Mix together the eggs, half & half, salt, cinnamon and sugar.
Pour over bread.
Soak raisins in the hot water 10 minutes. Drain and sprinkle in the pan.
Dot with butter. Let sit 30 minutes before baking.
Bake @ 325 for 1 1/2 hours.
