Ingredients
- 2 Medium Acorn Squash
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- Water
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Half two acorn squash around their perimeter. If the halved pieces do not stand upright, take off a little off the bottom (as little as possible so butter/syrup mix does not penetrate). Divide the butter and maple syrup evenly into the squash halves. Add 1/2 inch water to a medium size baking dish and add the squash face up in the pan. Using the melted butter/syrup baste the squash 15-20 minutes into making. Bake 1 hour or until tender.
