Ingredients
- Filling for Caramel Rolls:
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 pkg yeast
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. warm water
- 6 c. flour
- 3 c. brown sugar
- 1 stick oleo
- 1/3 c. white syrup
- or Frosting:
- 3 c. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 c. butter softened
- add milk for spreading consistency

Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, beat well. Add 1 cup boiling water, dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Mix salt and flour together. Mix all together. Let rise 1 hour. Roll out dough in rectangle shape and butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, roll dough up and cut into rolls an inch thick and place in two cake pans Bake at 375 degrees about 15 or 20 minutes.
