  • 2 c pecan halves
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1 TB molasses
  • 4 TB butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • unbaked pie crust

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl vigorously mix eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, molasses, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
2. Spread chopped pecans over bottom of frozen pie shell. Pour filling over the pecans.
3. Bake for 30 minutes. Tent pie with aluminum foil. Bake 45-55 minutes.
