Ingredients
- Directions:
- 1/2 gallon cucumbers, approximately 4, sliced
- 1/2 pt or 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 c. vinegar
- 2 c. water
- 2 t. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 t. celery seed
- ●In saucepan, combine vinegar, water, salt and sugar and bring to a boil.
- ●Cook until sugar is dissolved completely. Allow syrup to cool thoroughly. Pour over onions, and cucumber and stir in celery seed.
- ●Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.

●Syrup is good for 2 weeks; just add more cucumbers and onions.
