Vanilla Frosting

Ingredients

• 6 cups confectioners sugar sifted
• 2 sticks unsalted butter
• 4 1/2 Tbsp. milk
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• Food coloring
• All ingredients room temp

Preparation

Step 1

In bowl of electric mixer fitted with flat beater beat sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, and salt on low till combined. 1 minute. Scrape sides of bowl. Increase speed to high and beat 2 minutes. Add food coloring about 30 sec. If too dry add 1 tsp at a time the milk until creamy peaks form, but still holds firm. place frosting in piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Swirl on top to look like soft serve ice cream.
