Grit Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Boiling Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Salt
  • 1 Cup Grits
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 2 Eggs (well beaten)
  • 2 Cups Grated Cheese
  • 1 Cup Chopped Green Chilies

Preparation

Step 1

Add grits to boiling water and salt mixture while stirring. Cool until thick. Add stick of butter and eggs. Add cheese and green chilies. pour into a large baking dish. Bake for one hour at 250 degrees.
