Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c a.p. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c unsalted butter
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 c whole milk
  • 1 14oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 12oz. can of evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cup of whipping cream
  • 1 c of white sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

. pre-oven oven to 350 degrees

. grease a 9 x 13 baking pan

. sift all dry ingredients together

. cream butter and sugar together using a hand mixer or the paddle fixture on a stand mixture, for 3 minutes or until creamy

.add one egg at a time and continue to mix, add in vanilla extract

. add in dry ingredients and mix until thoroughly mixed.

.pour batter into prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes

. after cake is cooled, combine all 3 three milks (leches) together and pour over cake

. whip cream, adding in sugar and extract, top cake and refrigerate
