Wormy Caramel Apple Martini

Ingredients

• Lemon juice
• sanding sugar
• apple slice, for garnish, optional
• gummy worn, for garnish, optional
• 4 oz caramel vodka
• 2 oz club soda
• 1 oz sweet and sour schnapps (Dekuypers sour apple pucker)

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a small shallow dish, pour a small amount of lemon juice. In another shallow dish, add desired amount of sanding sugar. Dip rim of martini glass in lemon juice and then in sanding sugar to coat. Let stand to dry.
2. Using a paring knife, make a small hole in apple slice. Push a gummy worm through the hole.
3. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add caramel vodka, club soda and sweet and sour schnapps. Shake vigorously for 5-10 seconds. Strain into prepared martini glass. Garnish with a gummy worm apple slice if desired.
Note: To prevent apple slices from turning brown, dip in lemon juice; drain.
