Spanish Brown Rice and Sausage

Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, cut into 1⁄2 in half moons
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 15 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 t bottled minced garlic
  • 3 ⁄4 c brown rice
  • 1 ⁄2 c water
  • 1 1⁄2 t chili powder
  • 1 t oregano
  • 1 ⁄4 chopped cilantro

Preparation

Step 1

In crock pot, combine all ingredients except cilantro well. Cook on low for at least 5 hours or on high for 3 hours.
