Butler's Berry Crisp

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 quart fresh Butler's blackberries or raspberries, washed (1 quart of berries is approximately 3 cups)
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Preparation

Step 1

In bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs, set aside. Place berries in a 10x6x2 baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top. Bake in oven at 350 F for 40-45 minutes.
