Chicken Pot Pie-Ellen McGeady

Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • (4 split chicken breasts)
  • 1 package Pillsbury pie crust
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 cups frozen vegetables

Preparation

Step 1

In saucepan melt butter. Add onions and cook until tender, 10 minutes. Add flour and cook for 1 minute. Add salt and pepper. Gradually add chicken broth and milk. Cook until thicken. Add chicken and thawed vegetables. Warm through.

Bake @ 425 degrees for 30 minutes or until browned.
