Hash Brown Quiche - Shanna

  • 8 shredded frozen hash brown potato patties
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted (I use less - about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 cup cubed precooked ham or 1 lb. sausage cooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk or cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Place hash brown potato patties in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour melted butter evenly over the surface of potato patties. Bake at 35 for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle potatoes with ham/sausage and cheeses. In a large bowl beat eggs. Add milk or cream and salt. Stir. Pour mixture over cheese and ham. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Serves 8-10
