  • 3 egg whites - room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 6 tablespoons sugar



Step 1

Beat on high speed the egg whites, vanilla and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Continue beating and gradually add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.

Spread on pie and bake 350 degrees 12 to 15 minutes.

dip knife in water before cutting pie and meringue won't stick.
