Use this base recipe to make all sorts of quiches.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup 1/2 & 1/2 or cream
  • 1 cup of cheese: swiss, colby/jack, mozzerella, cheddar
  • 1 cup of desired filling: lobster or bacon (cooked), sauted veggies, ham

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs with wire whip. Add 1/2 & 1/2 and cheeses. Pour over filling into pie shell. Bake 1 hour @ 300F or until set.

Note: Brush inside of uncooked pie crust with beaten egg white and let stand until dried, about 30 minutes. This is prevent a soggy bottom.
