Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken pieces, skinned and trimmed of excess fat
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup carrot, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup celery, sliced thin
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbls curry powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 cups cooked garbonzo beans
- 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup dry white wine

Preparation
Step 1
Heat 3 Tbls of butter or olive oil in a large pot. Add onions, carrots, mushrooms, celery, salt, curry powder and cayenne pepper, stir and cook 1 minute. Add chicken pieces and stir and saute for 5 minutes. Add beans, sauce, raisins and water. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes. Stir in wine and serve.
