I got this recipe many years ago from a friend in Ybor City, Florida. This is a popular dish in the Cuban restaurants there.

Ingredients
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 Tbls vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- 1 large tomato, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup pimiento-stuffed green olives
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 green peppers, seeded and sliced thin

Step 1
Saute onion and garlic in oil 5 minutes. Stir in beef and cook 5 minutes, then drain well. Add tomato sauce, wine, tomato, olives, chili powder, cumin, cinnamon, salt and pepper. Bring to boil then simmer 15 minutes. Add green pepper, cover and cook 1 more minute. Serve over white or yellow rice.
