Ingredients

  • 1 8oz pkg shell macaroni
  • 2 Tbls butter
  • 1 Tbls all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup creamed cottage cheese
  • paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare macaroni, drain. In 2 qt saucepan over low heat, melt butter, stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually stir in milk and cook over medium heat, stirring, until sauce is slightly thick and smooth. Stir in peas, cook until tender. Stir in cheeses and cook until melted. Pour over macaroni and stir to coat. Spoon onto a warm platter and sprinkle with paprika.
