Ingredients

  • 1 small piece of ginger root chopped
  • 5 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 t. salt
  • 2 t. gram masala (Indian spice)
  • 3 t. ground coriander
  • 3/4 t. turmeric
  • 1/2 t. hot red pepper
  • 1 skinned chicken cut in serving pieces
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Preparation

Step 1

Pound ginger root and garlic into a paste and mix with;
Yogurt
Salt
Gram masala
Coriander
Turmeric
Red pepper

Marinade Overnight

Coat chicken pieces in lemon juice and melted butter

Place chicken directly on the rack in oven or grill.

Bake at 400 20 minutes on each side.
