Italian Lemon Cookies

My Aunt Clara makes these at Christmas and Easter time. So soft in texture with pink, yellow and blue icing! In Italian they are called "Dadols", (not sure if spelling is right), anyway brings back a great childhood memory.

Ingredients
- Cookies:
- 6 eggs
- 1 pkg Lemon Instant Pudding
- 3/4 c sugar
- 6 tsp baking powder
- 2 sticks marg, softened
- 1/2 bottle, pure lemon extract*
- 5 c flour
- Frosting:
- 1 1/2 boxes confectioners suger
- 1 stick marg, softened
- 1/2 bottle pure lemon extract
- milk
- food coloring
- buy 2 oz bottle of extract*
Preparation
Step 1
Cookies:
Using electric mixer, mix all ingredients, drop by tsp or small balls, (I use small scoop) and put onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 min at 350.
Frosting:
Mix together all ingredients. Keep adding small drops of milk.
