- 1 pkg. german chocolate cake mix
- 50 caramels
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 cube butter, melted
- 1 C. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. Unwrap caramels & put in sauce pan. Add 1/2 can evaporated milk & heat over low heat until caramels are completely melted. Set aside. In med mixing bowl, combine cake mix, 1/2 can evaporated milk, & butter. Put half of batter in 9x13 pan and bake 16 minutes. Pull out immediately and pour caramels over top. Sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel. Drop the remaining batter on the top in small spoonfuls. Put brownies back in the oven for 15 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
