FRUIT COBBLER

  • 2 cups fresh berries
  • 1 cup sugar, plus extra to sweeten fruit 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking powder
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Wash and drain berries. If using strawberries, remove the hulls. Place berries in the bottom of an 8-inch square pan. Lightly sprinkle fruit with sugar if desired. Mix together 1 cup sugar, flour and baking powder. Add egg and mix until crumble. Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the fruit. Drizzle melted butter over the top of the crumbs. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
