BUTTER (SUGAR) COOKIES

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• I cup sugar
• I egg
• 1 tsp. Baking powder
• 2 tbs. Orange or lemon juice
• 1 tsp. Vanilla
• 2 1/2 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Mix baking powder and flour. Mix together butter, sugar and egg. Add lemon juice and vanilla. Combine all ingredients and chill for 2 hours. Bake at 400° for 6 to 10 minutes or until golden brown on edges. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
