doTERRA Deodorant (Becky's)

By

Becky and I quadrupled this recipe to fill 4 regular size Deodorant containers that you can order on Amazon, Aromatools, etc... We also used Whisper and Purify instead of the Lavender and the Melaleuca. You just want to make sure you have an antibacterial/antifungal EO in there. For good measure we added a drop of Melaleuca. (or 4 drops for the quadrupled recipe)

Ingredients

  • 1 TBSP Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Fractionated Coconut Oil
  • 2 TBSP beeswax
  • 1 TBSP Arrowroot Powder(or cornstarch)
  • 2 TBSP baking soda
  • 8 drops Lavender EO
  • 5 drops Melaleuca EO

Preparation

Step 1

Add coconut oils and beeswax to a glass jar or measuring cup. Place in a small saucepan of water. Bring water to a boil and continue to heat and stir until ingredients are melted. Remove from heat and add arrowroot, baking soda, and oils. Stir until well-combined. Pour into containers or if you want to make a "bar" don't add the FCO and pour into muffin tins about a third full. Allow to harden and cool before using!
