Walnut Apple Cake with Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • Butter Sauce:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 cups Floud
  • 2 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. Soda
  • 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 4 cups chopped Apples
  • 1 cup chopped Nuts
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 3 tblsp. Flour
  • 2 tlbsp. Butter
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix first 4 ingredients well.

Sift next 4 ingredients and add to mixture.

Fold apples and nuts into mixture.

Put into 13x9" greased, floured pan.

Sauce:
Boil sugar, flour and butter over medium heat for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Pour over cake.

Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.
