Meat Loaf

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs - beaten
  • 3/4 c milk
  • 2/3 c bread crumbs (adjust as needed)
  • 1/4 c finely chopped onion
  • sage/basil/oregano/herb de'provence as desired
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef/lamb/pork
  • 1/4 c ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brown mustard

Preparation

Step 1

combine eggs & milk; stir in bread crumbs, onion, herbs, pepper, mustard; mix in meat and mix well. Lightly pat mixture into 8x4x2" load pan

bake at 350F for 1h 1.25h or until internal temperature reads 160F.

let stand 10 minutes before cutting
