- 1 cup Shortening
- 2 cups Brown Sugar, packed
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 Eggs
- 2 1/2 cups sifted Flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans

Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs to creamed mixture and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixture. Add pecans and mix well.. Drop by teaspoons on a cookie sheet. Banke at 350 degrees about 10 minutes.
Yield: Approximately 7 dozen
