Ingredients

  • 1 package Caramels (preferably Kraft)
  • 2 Tbs. Water
  • 2 Tbs. Margarine
  • 3 cups Pecans (very coarsley chopped)
  • 1 package dipping chocolate
  • 1/2 to 1 block of parafin

Step 1

Melt caramels, margarine and water together on low heat. (Do not let burn on bottom) Once melted and blended add pecans. Mix thoroughly and using 2 spoons drop onto pans sprayed with Pam.
Put a toothpick in each millionaire for dipping.
Melt 1 package of dipping chocolate. Add 1/2 to 1 block of parafin for thinning. (Do not use any water - this will ruin your chocolate)
Use very low heat to melt chocolate or use a double boiler. You must stir this real often - will burn on bottom if you don't. Once all is melted and creamy begin dipping millionaires one at a time and place on waxed paper to cool and dry. After dry remove toothpicks and put small amount of chocolate mixture in hole left by toothpick.
