Grandma's Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 can tomato juice
  • 1 1/2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 1 can corn, undrained
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup cabbages
  • salt & pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1 Cook roast and onion (boil) until done. Add carrots and tomato juice. Boil 15 minutes.
2 Add potatoes. Cook until almost done.
3 Add green beans and corn. Cook 15 minutes.
4 Add cabbage. Cook 10 minutes. Salt & pepper to taste.
