Creamed Peas

Ingredients

  • 1 can peas
  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 1/4 cup half and half cream
  • Salt & pepper
  • Milk
  • 1 Tbs sugar
  • 1 Tbs flour (heaping

Preparation

Step 1

Heat can of peas until liquid is almost gone. add enough milk to barely cover peas. Add butter and sugar. Bring to simmer. Add thickening (half & half and flour). Continue stirring until thick. Salt and pepper to taste. May wish to add more sugar.
