Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teas. baking powder
- 1 teas. salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 2/3 cup salad oil
- 1 teas. vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Grease jellyrool pan 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1. With mixer at high speed beat eggs thick and foamy. At medium speed gradually add sugar and beat well. Slowly beat in salad oil and vanilla. At low speed at in flour mixture. All at once, fold in nuts and chocolate pieces. Spread in pan and bake 20-25 minutes or test for doneness. Cool then cut bars in pan.
